In the 4th minute, Rafik Djebbour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Hani Kacha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Verwood FC's Abdenour Oudin didn't even have to move. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marwan Meriem couldn't finish the play. Abdenour Oudin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelhani Ghazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Verwood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Asma to maneuver through the defense. Marwan Meriem in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdenour Oudin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Said Asma was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marwan Meriem in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdenour Oudin saved Verwood FC from getting behind. Karim Dali Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lichfield's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
