Nordine Segni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tahar Semghouni went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tahar Semghouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Segni having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Leamington Spa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Boubekeur Beloufa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdeldjalil Bouteflika in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nordine Segni saved Leamington Spa AFC from getting behind. After having played for 36 minutes, Tahar Semghouni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings Cross City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tahar Semghouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tahar Semghouni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nordine Segni was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Choukri Mesli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nordine Segni made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Tahar Semghouni sent off a good shot on target. The Kings Cross City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
