The audience thought a goal was coming when Bakki El Aychi got free with Lyes Bridji in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, South Woodford's goalkeeper Lyes Bridji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bakki El Aychi. Zakaria Oussar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lyes Bridji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zakaria Oussar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bakki El Aychi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyes Bridji having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Zakaria Oussar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lyes Bridji, passed just outside the right post. When Bakki El Aychi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Wakefield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bakki El Aychi couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramzy Mehenni made a kick off. Lyes Bridji came out of the goal and Bakki El Aychi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. South Woodford's Lyes Bridji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bakki El Aychi in the 60th minute of play.
