A hard shot 12 in the game by Yacine Zenati from a close distance when the talented Haroun Mekhloufi managed to make a qualified save. Wells AFC's players were relieved. Nadji Amraoui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroun Mekhloufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Yacine Zenati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroun Mekhloufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nadji Amraoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Yacine Zenati scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroun Mekhloufi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khaled Ahmed scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samir Camus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Wells AFC's goalkeeper Haroun Mekhloufi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yacine Zenati. 37 minutes into the game, Wells AFC's Adel Mhenni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samir Camus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Nadji Amraoui had several of the Wells AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Haroun Mekhloufi as he didn't even see the shot coming. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nadji Amraoui to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Nadji Amraoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroun Mekhloufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yacine Zenati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Haroun Mekhloufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nadji Amraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroun Mekhloufi having to interfere. Wells AFC's Adel Mhenni got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute of the match, Adel Mhenni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samir Camus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute, Nadji Amraoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroun Mekhloufi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The supporters of Wells AFC booed when Mitcham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brahim Ben Khalidi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adel Mhenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Camus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Ahmed in the 82nd minute of play forced Mitcham United's goalkeeper Samir Camus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adel Mhenni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Samir Camus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khaled Ahmed was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
