Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Faouzi Bendjedid took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Wrea Green's Chams Abdelcrim got a free kick in the 4th minute. Nouredine Djoudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Bendjedid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Matlock got a freekick which was hit by Abdelatif Mehenni. Kendi Belmellat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khaled Rahmani's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Wrea Green getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Moncef Said hit a great ball. Mohamed Bedrina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faouzi Bendjedid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nouredine Djoudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Bendjedid in the 22nd minute of the match. If Khaled Rahmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Matlock's Kader El Ouafi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nouredine Djoudi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chahid Boulebda to strike the kick off in the second half. Faouzi Bendjedid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouredine Djoudi having to interfere. Chahid Boulebda didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 57th minute. Wrea Green's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Mohamed Bedrina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouredine Djoudi having to interfere. Faouzi Bendjedid struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nouredine Djoudi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matlock. 68 minutes into the match, Mohamed Bedrina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nouredine Djoudi. Wrea Green's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Bedrina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Wrea Green's Chahid Boulebda got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Matlock's Kendi Belmellat got control of the ball when Khaled Rahmani tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Wrea Green booed when Matlock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilyes Masmouda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khaled Rahmanis short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Kendi Belmellat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nouredine Djoudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faouzi Bendjedid in the 89th minute of play. Nouredine Djoudi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Bedrina, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Chams Abdelcrim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matlock fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wrea Green had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
