Bendjedid Rzighi's late challenge caught a Crediton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andaz Hammadouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nordine El Kounya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Crediton AFC's zone, Andaz Hammadouch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zahid Rahmani came out of the goal and Andaz Hammadouch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Crediton AFC's Madani Yacef got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Andaz Hammadouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kamel Benattia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaci Aribi was a little too slow when Mokhtar El Ounès got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Nordine El Kounya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zahid Rahmani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andaz Hammadouch took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zahid Rahmani. Zahid Rahmani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Romford's Kaci Aribi got control of the ball when Mokhtar El Ounès tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zahid Rahmani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nordine El Kounya in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Crediton AFC defense, Nordine El Kounya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zahid Rahmani. The Crediton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zahid Rahmani should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Mokhtar El Ounès managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crediton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mokhtar El Ounès was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaci Aribi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mokhtar El Ounès recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaci Aribi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamel Benattia's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Andaz Hammadouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zahid Rahmani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nordine El Kounya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Romford had won after a very even match.
