Yazid Al-Jazairia's late challenge caught a Crediton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yazid Al-Jazairia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Horfield getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Yazid Al-Jazairia hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Crediton AFC's Mokhtar El Ounès made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahi Fadhil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Ramzy Abbas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crediton AFC's Kamel Benattia got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mokhtar El Ounès who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Bahi Fadhil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Crediton AFC's Bouzid Dali Bey got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Amhaws Kazi-Tani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zahid Rahmani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Horfield fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Horfield's Ramzy Abbas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
