Mouloud Oudjani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yacine Apap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merouane Beloufa in the 21st minute. Yacine Apap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mouloud Oudjani in the 23rd minute of play. Mouloud Oudjani struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Yacine Apap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hornsea. After 28 minutes of play, Bridgnorth's Abderrahmane Benguergoura made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Admer Fechtali was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merouane Beloufa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Yacine Apap made a huge save. If Mouloud Oudjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belkacem Assad charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belkacem Assad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belkacem Assad kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Djamal Amrouche fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bridgnorth's protests and gave Djamal Amrouche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of Bridgnorth:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bridgnorth. Assim Belkacem shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mouloud Oudjani to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgnorth's zone, Merouane Beloufa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yacine Apap came out of the goal and Merouane Beloufa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hornsea's Youcef Kraouche got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgnorth's zone, Mouloud Oudjani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yacine Apap came out of the goal and Mouloud Oudjani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merouane Beloufa might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yacine Apap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merouane Beloufa ran back to his position shaking his head. Yacine Apap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merouane Beloufa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Hornsea's goalkeeper Admer Fechtali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Massoud Chebal. After having played for 86 minutes, Merouane Beloufa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hornsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merouane Beloufa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Merouane Beloufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Apap having to interfere. Hornsea's Mouloud Oudjani got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Bridgnorth's Abderrahmane Benguergoura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Admer Fechtali. Admer Fechtali yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The Bridgnorth players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hornsea from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
