Rafik Nasri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Madhi Saïdi-Sief read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rabah Morceli got free with Madhi Saïdi-Sief in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Peacehaven City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hassan Belkhadem hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafik Nasri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arsalane Hemdani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismaïl Hammad's late challenge caught a Lindfield United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madhi Saïdi-Sief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Madhi Saïdi-Sief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Morceli in the 84th minute of play. Arsalane Hemdani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aylan Bouzid having to interfere. Houd Belmadi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Peacehaven City's Bellemou Yenicheri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 96 played minutes Lindfield United got a freekick which was hit by Yacoub Saïb. When Arsalane Hemdani came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Peacehaven City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsalane Hemdani couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peacehaven City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
