Abdelhafid Abbas was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Karim Rimitti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karim Rimitti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Larbi Bendjedid might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Belmadi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larbi Bendjedid ran back to his position shaking his head. Larbi Bendjedid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Belmadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larbi Bendjedid, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Amine Soltani sped through Lowestoft AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Belmadi. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
