Harringay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zakaria Laref in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Harringay's Habib Driouche got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hamid Bitat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harringay's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamid Bitat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Said Dridi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abbes Djaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kader Mezghich fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trowell City's protests and gave Kader Mezghich a yellow card for diving instead. Trowell City's Said Dridi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Bitat in the 31st minute of play. Azregh Douibi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbes Djaout in the 33rd minute of the match. Abbes Djaout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azregh Douibi having to interfere. Harringay's Ziane Mesbah got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Harringay's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Saci came free, but Azregh Douibi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azregh Douibi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbes Djaout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
