In the 15th match minute, Eastbourne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Guessoum to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Akmin Lkbira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Islam Kateb. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

After a defensive mix-up in St Albans AFC's zone, Chih Temmam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ammuch Draï came out of the goal and Chih Temmam tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee showed Hakim Sebihi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for St Albans AFC! Hachemi Sahraoui walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 59th minute Chih Temmam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ammuch Draï saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
