Ismaïl Lacarne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amzar Fechtali having to interfere. Amzar Fechtali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Badr Bachtobji, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Assad Kouidri hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Zakaria Mebtoul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Staithes's goal looked a bit too open when Badr Bachtobji came free, but Amzar Fechtali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismaïl Lacarne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amzar Fechtali having to interfere. Taha Soumati kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Amzar Fechtali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismaïl Lacarne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zakaria Mebtoul was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Staithes getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sid Ahmed Sadmi hit a great ball. Ketta Firoud hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Staithes's Lounes Hamouda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haggi Amsallem came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Staithes reached it. If Ismaïl Lacarne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Assad Kouidri hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Ghanim Ziri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Staithes's Amzar Fechtali didn't even have to move. Badr Bachtobji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Amzar Fechtali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brighton's Ismaïl Lacarne got a free kick in the 69th minute. Staithes's Amzar Fechtali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Badr Bachtobji in the 71st minute of play. Assad Kouidri hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Brighton's Badr Bachtobji slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amzar Fechtali. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Staithes's zone, Ismaïl Lacarne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amzar Fechtali came out of the goal and Ismaïl Lacarne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ketta Firoud hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Staithes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brighton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
