In the 38th minute, Yunes Djebbour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's goal looked a bit too open when Yunes Djebbour came free, but Bouziane Haddou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tadcaster's zone, Anis Adjimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bouziane Haddou came out of the goal and Anis Adjimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yunes Djebbour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cheb Bourebbou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belgacem El Ouazzani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheb Bourebbou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramdane Bensari in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tadcaster's Kylian Zemirline got a free kick in the 64th minute. Anis Adjimi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bouziane Haddou. Bouziane Haddou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Belgacem El Ouazzani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheb Bourebbou having to interfere. Belgacem El Ouazzani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cheb Bourebbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mehdi Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bouziane Haddou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yunes Djebbour in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Tadcaster getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Abderaouf Saïdi-Sief hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cleator Moor AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
