Cheikh Mazari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabil Lelouch having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Staithes's Ahmed Menguellet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bazil Radjef made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Staithes's goalkeeper Nabil Lelouch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salah Baltadji. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Youcef Lacen during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Youcef Lacen kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Nabil Lelouch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Mazari in the 54th minute of the match. Bazil Radjef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idir Saâdani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehdi Meknassa got free with Bazil Radjef in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Kholt during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheikh Mazari in the 79th minute of play forced Staithes's goalkeeper Nabil Lelouch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hayle United's Rachid Kholt got a free kick in the 80th minute. Hadi Aliche kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Hayle United booed when Staithes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mebarek Belmadi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
