Sunderland United's Hafs Zaghouane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amzun Chadli in the 9th minute of play. Hamid El Ouafi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abdeldjalil Rodesli. Said Hadfi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amzun Chadli in the 23rd minute of play forced Sunderland United's goalkeeper Hafs Zaghouane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakki Djamel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hamid El Ouafi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Amzun Chadli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafs Zaghouane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid El Ouafi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoheir Yachir in the 35th minute. In the 40th match minute, Sunderland United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Said Hadfi to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Yacine Ouenjelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafs Zaghouane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Bourne AFC's goalkeeper Hamid El Ouafi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoheir Yachir.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amzun Chadli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amzun Chadli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amzun Chadli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hamid El Ouafi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoheir Yachir, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ramzy Arav hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Bakki Djamel made a precise shot to the right of Hamid El Ouafi. Bourne AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zoheir Yachir's late challenge caught a Bourne AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoheir Yachir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Sunderland United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoheir Yachir to maneuver through the defense. Yacine Ouenjelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafs Zaghouane having to interfere. A collision led to Sunderland United getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zoheir Yachir hit a great ball. Bourne AFC's Yacine Ouenjelli got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sunderland United's Hafs Zaghouane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sunderland United from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bourne AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sunderland United.
