But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boussad Kazi couldn't finish the play. Broadstairs United's Youcef Daham got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Asmil Kateb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Amine Zitouni made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Broadstairs United's Rabah Yahi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Carlin How's Amine Zitouni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rabah Yahi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rabah Yahi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boussad Kazi in the 31st minute of play. Khalil Khendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youcef Daham in the 33rd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boussad Kazi to strike the kick off in the second half. Broadstairs United's Rabah Yahi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boussad Kazi in the 55th minute of play. If Boussad Kazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amine Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Yahi having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Anwa Mezali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlin How and the Broadstairs United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Carlin How got a freekick which was hit by Anwa Mezali. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asmil Kateb in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalil Khendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Carlin How getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anwa Mezali hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Carlin How's Bani Rimitti got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Asmil Kateb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadstairs United's supporters rose to their feet, but Asmil Kateb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalil Khendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asmil Kateb struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Khalil Khendu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broadstairs United. Broadstairs United's Asmil Kateb got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Broadstairs United's zone, Amine Zitouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Yahi came out of the goal and Amine Zitouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rabah Yahi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boussad Kazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amine Zitouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Yahi having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Broadstairs United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carlin How.
