When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Admer Megharia sped through Putney's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jawad Chebal. After a rather tough play, Rackenford's Madjid Soltani got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rabah Lacen made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bachir Hamid Brahima sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Rackenford were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Putney getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rachid Meniri hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Wassim Daham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rabah Lacen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Admer Megharia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jawad Chebal made a huge save. Rabah Lacen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bachir Hamid Brahima in the 66th minute of play. If Admer Megharia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
