Lamine Driouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Safi Zeggaï sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youcef Timsit in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lamine Driouche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbey Wood's goalkeeper Lamine Driouche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Youcef Timsit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peterlee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Youcef Timsit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afdal Guessoum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lamine Driouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afdal Guessoum in the 25th minute of the match. Lamine Driouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youcef Timsit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamine Driouche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afdal Guessoum's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Youcef Timsit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lamine Driouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamine Driouche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afdal Guessoum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adib Sofyane couldn't finish the play. When Peterlee's Youcef Timsit in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abbey Wood's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afdal Guessoum to make the kick off. Youcef Timsit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lamine Driouche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Afdal Guessoum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamine Driouche was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Youcef Timsit showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 60th minute, Bachir Skif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afdal Guessoum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Afdal Guessoum fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Djallil Benguedoudj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adib Sofyane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute of the game, Fadel Mekloufi landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Mimoun Mamouni's late challenge caught a Peterlee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mimoun Mamouni helped the player get up and apologised. Mimoun Mamouni hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Peterlee's Djallil Benguedoudj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adib Sofyane in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Abbey Wood's Safi Zeggaï sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Djallil Benguedoudj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Djallil Benguedoudj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Safi Zeggaï, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamine Driouche was a little too slow when Youcef Timsit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Peterlee supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peterlee would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
