After a defensive mix-up in Dunmow FC's zone, Djamil Cavalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fayssal Zitouni came out of the goal and Djamil Cavalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayane Beloufa in the 9th minute of play forced Dunmow FC's goalkeeper Fayssal Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Eastcote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayane Beloufa to maneuver through the defense. Stéphane Mesbah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ifthen Benhabiles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Djamil Cavalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fayssal Zitouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rayane Beloufa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Islem Banouas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Djamil Cavalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayssal Zitouni having to interfere. The supporters of Dunmow FC booed when Eastcote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issam Halimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ifthen Benhabiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stéphane Mesbah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Rayane Beloufa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fayssal Zitouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Assim Kafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ifthen Benhabiles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Assim Kafi in the 42nd minute of the match. Ifthen Benhabiles came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunmow FC's Assim Kafi. But to his dismay, Assim Kafi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dunmow FC's zone, Djamil Cavalli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fayssal Zitouni came out of the goal and Djamil Cavalli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Bencheikh in the 52nd minute of play forced Dunmow FC's goalkeeper Fayssal Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Eastcote defense, Assim Kafi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ifthen Benhabiles. The Eastcote fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ifthen Benhabiles should have stopped the shot. Assim Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Benhabiles having to interfere. A collision led to Dunmow FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Islem Banouas hit a great ball. Fayssal Zitouni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rayane Beloufa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Assim Kafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Benhabiles having to interfere. Djamil Cavalli struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fayssal Zitouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastcote. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunmow FC's goalkeeper Fayssal Zitouni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Assim Kafi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Ifthen Benhabiles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dunmow FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
