Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fayssal Adjimi started the match with the kick off. Noureddine Attaf kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mourad Chebli in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malik Ulansi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malik Ulansi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Newfel Madouni in the 12th minute of the match. Mourad Chebli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Malik Ulansi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Verwood got a freekick which was hit by Nordine Fahima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mourad Chebli in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malik Ulansi saved Verwood from getting behind. Mourad Chebli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malik Ulansi having to interfere. In the 28th minute Newfel Madouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malik Ulansi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malik Ulansi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Amirouche in the 33rd minute of play. Newfel Madouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Malik Ulansi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Scofton AFC booed when Verwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Attaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Scofton AFC's Anaba Sadmi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toufik Boulebda during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Verwood's Toufik Boulebda got a free kick in the 38th minute. Chadli Khorci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sami Muqaddem having to interfere. In the last second Sami Muqaddem throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fayssal Adjimi in the 45thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Newfel Madouni took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Malik Ulansi. Malik Ulansi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Scofton AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Newfel Madouni was the one to do the kick off. Malik Ulansi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Newfel Madouni in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Chebli in the 59th minute of play forced Verwood's goalkeeper Malik Ulansi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Chadli Khorci made a precise shot to the right of Sami Muqaddem. Scofton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mourad Cheblis short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Malik Ulansi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Mourad Chebli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Chebli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Verwood getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mekki Mouzaoui hit a great ball. Mourad Chebli in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Malik Ulansi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 78 minutes Scofton AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mekki Mouzaoui who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Verwood's Mekki Mouzaoui to fire away a dangerous shot which Sami Muqaddem despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Malik Ulansi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Newfel Madouni in the 82nd minute of play. Scofton AFC's Sami Muqaddem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chadli Khorci in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Verwood getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Farid Asma hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Newfel Madouni dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Malik Ulansi, 1-2. Newfel Madouni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malik Ulansi having to make a save. The Scofton AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scofton AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
