Marlow's Abderrahmane Bougherra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Marlow from getting a goal against them. Ahmis Guellil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Ezzouaoui having to interfere. When Marlow's Ahmis Guellil in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newark City's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmis Guellil in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdellah Ezzouaoui saved Newark City from getting behind. 2-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Buzid Cherif elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Buzid Cherif to strike the kick off in the second half. Sofiane Jeanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Ali Menguellet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Menguellet charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Buzid Cherif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Abderrahmane Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofiane Jeanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderrahmane Bougherra having to interfere. Sofiane Jeanson scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abderrahmane Bougherra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marlow's Afdal Ammour shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abdellah Ezzouaoui but with some difficulty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marlow players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Newark City.
