Marlow's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacer Djaghloul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Abdel Karim Mezdad was a little too slow when Ahmis Guellil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-2. 32 minutes into the match, Peterborough's goalkeeper Abdel Karim Mezdad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djelloul Chedda. The audience was convinced that Ahmis Guellil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdel Karim Mezdad was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Abderrahmane Bougherra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacer Djaghloul in the 69th minute. A collision led to Peterborough getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Djelloul Chedda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peterborough's Abdel Karim Mezdad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdel Karim Mezdad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmis Guellil went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Nacer Djaghloul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Abderrahmane Bougherra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marlow were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peterborough for a fine match.
