Assim Lelouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbes Ulansi having to interfere. Witney's Abbes Ulansi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Assim Lelouch in the 11th minute of play. When Bahasz Ghennouchi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Witney fans jumped to their feet. After 32 minutes of play Dymchurch City's Hamza Benbrahim was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Dymchurch City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hamza Benbrahim hit a great ball. Rahim Sadaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Wahid Megharia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Witney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Bahmane to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Zineddine Abrika got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the Dymchurch City defense, Rahim Sadaoui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wahid Megharia. The Dymchurch City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wahid Megharia should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Rahim Sadaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Witney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rahim Sadaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Rahim Sadaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belkacem Mamouni hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Rahim Sadaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Rahim Sadaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wahid Megharia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zineddine Abrika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abbes Ulansi having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Zineddine Abrika fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dymchurch City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
