The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Assim Lelouch to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mabrouk Al-Jazairia fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Cross's protests and gave Mabrouk Al-Jazairia a yellow card for diving instead. Mabrouk Al-Jazairia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dymchurch City's Assim Lelouch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abderraouf Larbes. That made the score 2-2 after 57 minutes of play. Ali Maillot's late challenge caught a New Cross's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khalida Boumabadji's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wahid Megharia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Wahid Megharia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nordine Slaïmi in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Assim Lelouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abderraouf Larbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Khalida Boumabadji hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Hamza Benbrahim kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nordine Slaïmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wahid Megharia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mebarek Belhadj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wahid Megharia having to interfere. Nordine Slaïmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dymchurch City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New Cross.
