After some careless play in the New Cross defense, Taïeb Fadela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abderraouf Larbes. The New Cross fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abderraouf Larbes should have stopped the shot. Abderraouf Larbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taïeb Fadela in the 14th minute of the match. Mourad Nasri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nordine Slaïmi in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nordine Slaïmi in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mourad Nasri saved Malmesbury from getting behind. Taïeb Fadela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderraouf Larbes having to interfere. Taïeb Fadela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abderraouf Larbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abderraouf Larbes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taïeb Fadela's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Khalida Boumabadji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anas Sahraoui in the 32nd minute of play forced New Cross's goalkeeper Abderraouf Larbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mourad Nasri made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Zidan Draï sent off a good shot on target. Alsan Boulebda charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alsan Boulebda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Malmesbury getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alsan Boulebda hit a great ball. With a little luck, Malmesbury's Mourad Nasri got control of the ball when Khalida Boumabadji tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anas Sahraoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderraouf Larbes having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taïeb Fadela made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Nordine Slaïmi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mourad Nasri. Malmesbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nordine Slaïmi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Cross fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Cross's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abdellatif Sakrani was slow to take the kick. During this time Malmesbury's players had a chance to rest. Abdellatif Sakrani made a great header on Malmesbury's corner, it was just that New Cross's Abderraouf Larbes managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, New Cross's Abderraouf Larbes got control of the ball when Anas Sahraoui tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, New Cross's goal looked a bit too open when Alsan Boulebda came free, but Abderraouf Larbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taïeb Fadela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, Zidan Draï made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Malmesbury's Mourad Nasri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zidan Draï recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Cross had won after a very even match.
