The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Titchfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Yacine Ammour. Cheikh Bellil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rabah Reddad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Bellil in the 6th minute of the match. Rabah Reddad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheikh Bellil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheikh Bellil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Reddad having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Titchfield FC's zone, Mustapha Belkacem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rabah Reddad came out of the goal and Mustapha Belkacem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cheikh Bellil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rabah Reddad having to interfere. Akim Bouchnak charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akim Bouchnak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Titchfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Akim Bouchnak. A very nice done corner allowed Anouar Mhenni to score against Rabah Reddad in Titchfield FC's goal. 1-0 after 44 minutes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cheikh Bellil made a kick off. Raouf Hadjadj kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Walid Bouzid, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Meziane Khelaifia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zouhir Lacarne came out and tried to block the shot, but Meziane Khelaifia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheikh Bellil in the 59th minute of play forced Titchfield FC's goalkeeper Rabah Reddad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ilfracombe's Zouhir Lacarne got control of the ball when Yacine Ammour tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zouhir Lacarne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yacine Ammour in the 68th minute. Titchfield FC's Rabah Reddad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cheikh Bellil in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cheikh Bellil in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rabah Reddad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 84 minutes, Meziane Khelaifia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titchfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Meziane Khelaifia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cheikh Bellil struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rabah Reddad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilfracombe.
