The supporters of Godalming booed when Barhill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haggi Saïd-Guerni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Yassine Mammech's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atmane Zenia was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Barhill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yassine Mammech came free, but Atmane Zenia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godalming were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Barhill FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ayoub Benarbia took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Adza Mezali managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Adza Mezali struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Atmane Zenia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godalming. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Atmane Zenia made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Yassine Mammech sent off a good shot on target. If Adza Mezali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adza Mezali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atmane Zenia having to interfere. Yassine Mammech came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atmane Zenia could save by the left post. Imad Azzizi-Kettab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute of the match, Adza Mezali tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atmane Zenia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Yassine Mammech's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Atmane Zenia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Godalming's Yamine Amrouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazim Mebtoul in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nazim Mebtoul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yamine Amrouni was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Nazim Mebtoul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barhill FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Godalming for much of the match.
