Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Achour Zarabi kicked off to start the match. Driss Teissier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chakib Halouadji, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a left leg Boumedienne Kheyari saved Paignton AFC from getting behind. Kylian Brahimi scored 1-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boumedienne Kheyari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Achour Zarabi in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kylian Brahimi scored 1-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boumedienne Kheyari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Achour Zarabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boumedienne Kheyari having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chakib Halouadji to make the kick off. If Chakib Halouadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achour Zarabi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boumedienne Kheyari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Boumedienne Kheyari managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Ashton-under-Lyne's Kylian Brahimi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 76 minutes into the match, Achour Zarabi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boumedienne Kheyari, 1-5. After 80 played minutes, Paignton AFC's Abderrazek Fari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Driss Teissier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paignton AFC reached it. Driss Teissier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahia Dib in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Achour Zarabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashton-under-Lyne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achour Zarabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Yahia Dib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Driss Teissier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Arsan Abdelkrim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Medjadi Sermadji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ashton-under-Lyne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ashton-under-Lyne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
