Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Achour Zarabi made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Brampton getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bellemou Rodesli hit a great ball. With a little luck, Brampton's Jaber Maghili got control of the ball when Kylian Brahimi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaber Maghili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achour Zarabi in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ashton-under-Lyne's Achour Zarabi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaber Maghili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 minutes of play, Ashton-under-Lyne's Achour Zarabi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaber Maghili was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes, Brampton's Said Boulebda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Driss Teissier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brampton reached it. Mohamed Brahimi took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Driss Teissier. Driss Teissier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jaber Maghili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achour Zarabi in the 37th minute of play. Sofiane Harkati's late challenge caught a Ashton-under-Lyne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sofiane Harkati helped the player get up and apologised. Jaber Maghili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achour Zarabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Kylian Brahimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jaber Maghili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ashton-under-Lyne's Achour Zarabi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaber Maghili. Jaber Maghili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bellemou Rodesli to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Abdelmalik Drari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashton-under-Lyne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelmalik Drari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Kylian Brahimi made a precise shot to the right of Jaber Maghili. Brampton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 61st match minute, Ashton-under-Lyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelmalik Drari to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Brampton got a freekick which was hit by Sofiane Harkati. After recieving a nice pass, Ashton-under-Lyne's Abderrahmane Boulebda tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Salim Reddad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kylian Brahimi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaber Maghili having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achour Zarabi in the 75th minute of play forced Brampton's goalkeeper Jaber Maghili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Ashton-under-Lyne's goalkeeper Driss Teissier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohamed Brahimi. If Achour Zarabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Arsan Abdelkrim fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashton-under-Lyne's protests and gave Arsan Abdelkrim a yellow card for diving instead. Achour Zarabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaber Maghili having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Ashton-under-Lyne's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mohamed Brahimi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Salim Reddad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ashton-under-Lyne had played much better football throughout.
