Spectators: 6760 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Semah Oulhaci kicked off to start the match. If Semah Oulhaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes of play, Tamworth's Ayache Khabatou made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalil Balaid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anther Chaffaï took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semah Oulhaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Nadji Abdelkrim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anther Chaffaï was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Rachid Hemdani hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Semah Oulhaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Banbury were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Zeghdoud made a kick off. Nadji Abdelkrim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anther Chaffaï made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semah Oulhaci in the 53rd minute of play. Mohamed Zeghdoud took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalil Balaid. Khalil Balaid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 61st minute, Ayache Khabatou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalil Balaid was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Khalil Balaid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdessatar Merah in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Mohamed Zeghdoud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalil Balaid was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The supporters of Tamworth booed when Banbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Badr Djeziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Arsalane Lacen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalil Balaid. Nadji Abdelkrim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tamworth's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nadji Abdelkrim 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tamworth could leave the field as winners, despite Banbury having more of the ball for most of the match.
