In the 16thth minute of the game Abdelmalek Reddad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falmouth's Boubekeur Merniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mourad Gaddouch got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Boubekeur Merniz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Falmouth got a freekick which was hit by Brahim Zerari. After a defensive mix-up in Falmouth's zone, Abdelmalek Reddad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boubekeur Merniz came out of the goal and Abdelmalek Reddad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Mourad Gaddouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brahim Zerari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chabane Kerfali having to interfere. With a little luck, Wanborough United's Chabane Kerfali got control of the ball when Karim Rebbab tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falmouth's Boubekeur Merniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmalek Reddad in the 36th minute of play. Boubekeur Merniz came out of the goal and Abdelmalek Reddad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brahim Zerari to make the kick off. Boubekeur Merniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mourad Gaddouch in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Cheikh Djamel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wanborough United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falmouth the free kick. The supporters of Falmouth booed when Wanborough United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheikh Djamel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdelmalek Reddad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chabane Kerfali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brahim Zerari, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Sofiane Bouchemla kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Okacha Boudjedra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boubekeur Merniz. Falmouth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
