After some careless play in the Stourbridge United defense, Samy Benhamou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Zaghidour. The Stourbridge United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Zaghidour should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Stourbridge United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Driss Kerfali hit a great ball. Chedli Mecherara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agwama Lkbira in the 26th minute of play. Ismael Zaghidour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azzouz Djebbour, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ilkley FC's Chedli Mecherara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ilkley FC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, one of Ilkley FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ilkley FC:s Chedli Mecherara showed great skill when he stopped Chakib Brahimi:s penalty. Fadi Fergani hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilkley FC's goalkeeper Chedli Mecherara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agwama Lkbira to strike the kick off in the second half. Stourbridge United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Azzouz Djebbour scored to the left of an out of position Ismael Zaghidour, making the score, 0-2. Addas Mihoubi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chedli Mecherara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Yunes Mekloufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stourbridge United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samy Benhamou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ilkley FC played a much better game than Stourbridge United and deserved their victory. The Stourbridge United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
