Zoheir Cohen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aszar Benguesmia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Said Lacen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoheir Cohen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aszar Benguesmia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Abdelhafid Skif hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Abid Saïd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shepton Mallet AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vauxhall City the free kick. If Aszar Benguesmia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Vauxhall City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Shepton Mallet AFC throughout the match.
