In the 9th minute Sid Ali Bendjedid suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 9 minutes into the game, Abdelmalik Djaghloul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redbourn City the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Woodbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelmalik Djaghloul to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Woodbridge's zone, Abdelmalik Ahmed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amawal Kraouche came out of the goal and Abdelmalik Ahmed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rayan Djeballi's late challenge caught a Woodbridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rayan Djeballi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Woodbridge booed when Redbourn City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayan Djeballi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Reda Belhadj hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kassel Kerrouche's late challenge caught a Redbourn City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kassel Kerrouche helped the player get up and apologised. Abdelbassir Yacef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amrani Barbarossa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdelmalik Ahmed in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amawal Kraouche saved Woodbridge from getting behind. Hamid Khabatou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amrani Barbarossa having to make a save. Abdelbassir Yacef's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amrani Barbarossa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamid Khabatou got free with Amrani Barbarossa in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdelbassir Yacef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 61 minutes, Arsan Belbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redbourn City and the Woodbridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amrani Barbarossa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Yacef in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Redbourn City's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelbassir Yacef came free, but Amrani Barbarossa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Woodbridge got a freekick which was hit by Mouloud Medjiba. Abdelmalik Ahmed had several of the Woodbridge's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Amawal Kraouche as he didn't even see the shot coming. 94 minutes in the game, Abdelmalik Ahmed fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amawal Kraouche having to interfere. Woodbridge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Redbourn City for a fine match.
