With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lili Ulansi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amawal Kraouche saved Woodbridge from getting behind. When Woodbridge's Abdelbassir Yacef in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hawkcombe's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th match minute, Woodbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelbassir Yacef to maneuver through the defense. If Abdelbassir Yacef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hawkcombe defense, Hamid Khabatou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustapha Zerari. The Hawkcombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustapha Zerari should have stopped the shot. Hamid Khabatou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustapha Zerari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Hawkcombe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Woodbridge:s goal. The referee gave Woodbridge a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abdelmalik Djaghloul, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hawkcombe's Mustapha Zerari. 0-2. In the 28th minute, Hichem Diafat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lili Ulansi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hawkcombe's supporters rose to their feet, but Lili Ulansi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amawal Kraouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hawkcombe's Boussad Djeballi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelbassir Yacef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mustapha Zerari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Hichem Diafat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Lili Ulansi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amawal Kraouche, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Woodbridge's zone, Lili Ulansi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amawal Kraouche came out of the goal and Lili Ulansi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes Woodbridge got a freekick which was hit by Kassel Kerrouche. In the 48th minute, Abderrahim Larbes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Woodbridge's Amawal Kraouche didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lili Ulansi made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Woodbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Boussad Djeballi came free, but Amawal Kraouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amawal Kraouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boussad Djeballi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Woodbridge's Amawal Kraouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lili Ulansi in the 66th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Lili Ulansi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woodbridge's Amawal Kraouche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdelmalik Djaghloul hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodbridge's goalkeeper Amawal Kraouche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustapha Zerari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbassir Yacef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nourredine El Hadi during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Nourredine El Hadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustapha Zerari was a little too slow when Hamid Khabatou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-3. Mustapha Zerari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Yacef in the 87th minute of the match. Hamid Khabatou succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 89th playminute. In the 94th match minute, Hawkcombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abderrahim Larbes to maneuver through the defense. The Woodbridge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Woodbridge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
