Zinedine Djenane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anas Belhouche's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Knodi Djeziri made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Knodi Djeziri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doncaster City's Abdel Adjani got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Doncaster City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anis Tayebi to maneuver through the defense. Newcastle-under-Lyme FC's Amar Rebbab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knodi Djeziri in the 60th minute of play. Abdel Adjani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Rebbab having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Zahid Abdelghani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samir Meriem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Riad Zemmam hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Doncaster City! Mekki Sahnouni placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 77th match minute, Doncaster City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahid Abdelghani to maneuver through the defense. If Samir Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Samir Meriem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Djenane having to interfere. With a little luck, Doncaster City's Zinedine Djenane got control of the ball when Samir Meriem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doncaster City's Zinedine Djenane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Doncaster City from getting a goal against them. If Samir Meriem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
