Amine Berradja hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Afdal Zitounis short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Fadel Hindi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Afdal Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 13 in the game by Afdal Zitouni from a close distance when the talented Fadel Hindi managed to make a qualified save. Kirkby FC's players were relieved. In the 14th minute Djamal Kosbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faudel Messaoudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faudel Messaoudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afaghis Yahlali in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djamal Kosbi in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faudel Messaoudi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Djamal Kosbi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Faudel Messaoudi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Akram Gallaire charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akram Gallaire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Akram Gallaire hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bahnini El Ibrahimi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Shipley FC's Faudel Messaoudi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afaghis Yahlali in the 34th minute of play. Faudel Messaoudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afaghis Yahlali in the 36th minute of the match. Djamal Kosbi struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Faudel Messaoudi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirkby FC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mamaar Ihidjaten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Mohamed Brahimi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirkby FC and the Shipley FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohamed Brahimi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Djamal Kosbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ghiles Mihoubi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirkby FC's protests and gave Ghiles Mihoubi a yellow card for diving instead. Cheikh Sam took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fadel Hindi. Fadel Hindi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute, Afdal Zitouni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fadel Hindi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fadel Hindi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mamaar Ihidjaten, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Akram Gallaire kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Kirkby FC booed when Shipley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelmadjid Bachtobji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djamal Kosbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Amine Berradja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirkby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shipley FC the free kick. After 93 played minutes Kirkby FC got a freekick which was hit by Amine Berradja. After 95 minutes, Ayachi Taâllah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shipley FC and the Kirkby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Djamal Kosbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faudel Messaoudi having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
