Spectators: 6744 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mokhtar Sellami kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Afdal Zitouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinedine Khaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minehead FC's Frawsen Kazi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Faudel Messaoudi had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mokhtar Sellami in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faudel Messaoudi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mokhtar Sellami struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Faudel Messaoudi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minehead FC. If Afdal Zitouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Madjer Allalou fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minehead FC's protests and gave Madjer Allalou a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Minehead FC got a freekick which was hit by Madjer Allalou. 33 minutes into the match, Afdal Zitouni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zinedine Khaldi. Minehead FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afdal Zitouni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36th minute, Ayachi Taâllah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mokhtar Sellami came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Minehead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mokhtar Sellami couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afdal Zitouni to make the kick off. Mokhtar Sellami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Minehead FC's Zinedine Khaldi got control of the ball when Afdal Zitouni tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55 minutes of play Minehead FC's Madjer Allalou was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mamaar Ihidjaten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Mokhtar Sellami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minehead FC's Frawsen Kazi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shipley FC's Afdal Zitouni got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mahmoud Kerbouche during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Minehead FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shipley FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Shipley FC's Cheikh Sam got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Zinedine Khaldi. Faudel Messaoudi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frawsen Kazi in the 98th minute of the match. The Minehead FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shipley FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Shipley FC.
