The supporters of Paull FC booed when Kirkby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afaghis Yahlali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ibrahim Benali charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Boumedienne Korteby successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 40 played minutes, Paull FC's Younes Rebbab shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fadel Hindi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paull FC reached it. Fadel Hindi came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Paull FC's Hocine Madani. But to his dismay, Hocine Madani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afaghis Yahlali was the one to do the kick off. Afaghis Yahlali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boumedienne Korteby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afaghis Yahlali, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Amayas Metidji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paull FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirkby FC the free kick. Amayas Metidji kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afaghis Yahlali in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boumedienne Korteby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Djamal Kosbi made a precise shot to the right of Boumedienne Korteby. Paull FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 96th minute, Afaghis Yahlali made a precise shot to the right of Boumedienne Korteby.
