When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frawsen Kazi sped through Paull FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boumedienne Korteby. In the 7th minute Frawsen Kazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boumedienne Korteby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9th play minutes Mokhtar Sellami shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Boumedienne Korteby and just under the crossbar into goal. Frawsen Kazi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Boumedienne Korteby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minehead FC. Mokhtar Sellami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boumedienne Korteby having to interfere. Paull FC's Boumedienne Korteby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frawsen Kazi in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minehead FC's Aghali Saboundji got a free kick in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Paull FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frawsen Kazi came free, but Boumedienne Korteby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes, Samir Hamyane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minehead FC and the Paull FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Minehead FC got a freekick which was hit by Samir Hamyane. Farouk Kouri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zinedine Khaldi. Minehead FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Madjer Allalou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mokhtar Sellami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Boumedienne Korteby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hocine Madani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Mokhtar Sellami reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boumedienne Korteby. The goal made the score 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Frawsen Kazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minehead FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frawsen Kazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boumedienne Korteby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Hocine Madani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zinedine Khaldi. Minehead FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hocine Madani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With an all-out effort, Minehead FC's Boumedienne Korteby threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mokhtar Sellami, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mokhtar Sellami in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boumedienne Korteby saved Paull FC from getting behind. After 69 minutes of play Minehead FC's Samir Hamyane was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Paull FC booed when Minehead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Hamyane didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Hocine Madani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hocine Madani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghiles Ahmed in the 75th minute of play forced Minehead FC's goalkeeper Zinedine Khaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frawsen Kazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Boumedienne Korteby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frawsen Kazi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Boumedienne Korteby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Hocine Madani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ghiles Ahmed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Khaldi having to interfere. Zinedine Khaldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Madani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Hocine Madani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinedine Khaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Paull FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rami Brahimi to maneuver through the defense. The Minehead FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
