Spilsby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shaftesbury the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maamar Achiu in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hacène Debbagh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spilsby FC's goalkeeper Azzad Ramdane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Belkacem Korteby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hacène Debbagh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Agwama Deghmani came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Shaftesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agwama Deghmani couldn't finish the play. Agwama Deghmani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Azzad Ramdane made a huge save. Agwama Deghmani received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Azzad Ramdane came out and tried to block the shot, but Agwama Deghmani slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Azzedine Ouar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azzedine Ouar to make the kick off. Spilsby FC's Azzad Ramdane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agwama Deghmani in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Shaftesbury getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Amar Yataghen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maamar Achiu got free with Hacène Debbagh in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th match minute, Spilsby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelbassir Soumati to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes Shaftesbury got a freekick which was hit by Buba Beloufa. In the 63rd minute Fodil Fari managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Shaftesbury's Hacène Debbagh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Shaftesbury from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Shaftesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahnini Reda Madouni to maneuver through the defense. Belkacem Korteby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hacène Debbagh having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Spilsby FC's Adan Seghiri got a free kick in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Belkacem Korteby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hacène Debbagh. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. Amar Yataghen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Spilsby FC's Azzad Ramdane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azzedine Ouar in the 87th minute of play. If Maamar Achiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Spilsby FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Shaftesbury throughout the match.
