Boubekeur Kafi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mabrouk Zian made a huge save. Boubekeur Kafi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Mabrouk Zian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boubekeur Kafi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mabrouk Zian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achir Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Boubekeur Kafi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 50 minutes into the match, Lamine Djaadaoui notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chelmsford's Zidan Zahouania. Zidan Zahouania was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Hendon's Mabrouk Zian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boubekeur Kafi in the 56th minute of play. Hichem Benmabrouk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mabrouk Zian. Hendon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dylan Jeanson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Zidan Zahouania skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mohamed Abbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hicham Messis's late challenge caught a Hendon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Mohamed Abbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zidan Zahouania was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Mohamed Abbes struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Zidan Zahouania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hendon. In the 95th minute, Daoud Benchenaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Redha Meskouri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hendon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
