Idir Mazari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazim Mami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Raouf Mami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merouane Zeggar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Raouf Mami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merouane Zeggar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Zoheir El Ouafi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uxbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoheir El Ouafi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uxbridge's Idir Mazari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazim Mami in the 42nd minute of play. If Raouf Mami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rachid Ouar hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Uxbridge's Zoheir El Ouafi got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zoheir El Ouafi to strike the kick off in the second half. Merouane Zeggar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoheir El Ouafi in the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Raouf Mami managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uxbridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Raouf Mami was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Merouane Zeggar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Zoheir El Ouafi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merouane Zeggar was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 63 minutes Congleton FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lamine Barbarossa who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Congleton FC's Azregh Boniche got a free kick in the 64th minute. Raouf Mami blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merouane Zeggar having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Amattaken Madjer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Idir Mazari. Uxbridge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amattaken Madjer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 89th minute, Amattaken Madjer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Congleton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
