The crowd rose to their feet as Lyazzide Ounissi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Billel Chaouchi. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Haider Khabatou kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Haider Khabatou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofyane Ounissi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mouloud Yahlali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofyane Ounissi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aghali Kazi-Tani hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Fletching's Haider Khabatou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billel Chaouchi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Yahia Amirèche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jawed Chaffaï might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mouloud Yahlali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jawed Chaffaï ran back to his position shaking his head. Billel Chaouchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyazzide Ounissi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahia Amirèche in the 37th minute of play forced Fletching's goalkeeper Mouloud Yahlali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sofyane Ounissi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderrahmane Zaghidour's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Mouloud Yahlali on his right side and into the goal. 47 minutes into the game it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yahia Amirèche made a kick off. With a little luck, Fletching's Mouloud Yahlali got control of the ball when Sofyane Ounissi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fletching's Abdelkader Meriem got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Sofyane Ounissi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahia Amirèche struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mouloud Yahlali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeadon City. After a rather tough play, Fletching's Abdelkader Meriem got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Sofyane Ounissi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mouloud Yahlali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahia Amirèche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billel Chaouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haider Khabatou in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Yahia Amirèche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mouloud Yahlali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Haider Khabatou came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Fletching fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haider Khabatou couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Yeadon City's Yahia Amirèche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mouloud Yahlali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Fletching players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
