But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daho Masmouda couldn't finish the play. Abdel Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikh Teissier in the 14th minute of play. If Daho Masmouda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramdane Meskine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nasserredine Mamouni. Hanworth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hanworth's zone, Hikmet Ghoumari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasserredine Mamouni came out of the goal and Hikmet Ghoumari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, Nottingham AFC's Hikmet Ghoumari made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nasserredine Mamouni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, David Assad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hikmet Ghoumari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nottingham AFC's Daho Masmouda got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hanworth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nottingham AFC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Cheikh Teissier made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Hikmet Ghoumari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdel Brahimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheikh Teissier in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Houari Meniri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasserredine Mamouni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. David Assad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Abdel Brahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Akmar Mebtoul sped through Nottingham AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdel Brahimi. Abdel Brahimi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheikh Teissier in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheikh Teissier in the 76th minute of play forced Nottingham AFC's goalkeeper Abdel Brahimi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akmar Mebtoul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abdel Brahimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daho Masmouda came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nasserredine Mamouni could save by the left post. 87 minutes into the game, Abdelfattah Lacen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hanworth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nottingham AFC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Madhil Reddad got free with Nasserredine Mamouni in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Daho Masmouda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nottingham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daho Masmouda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nasserredine Mamouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hikmet Ghoumari kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
