The audience was convinced that Balwa Bentaala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalida Mazouni was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Balwa Besseghir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute Balwa Bentaala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalida Mazouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Amrouche fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broughton Astley FC's protests and gave Daniel Amrouche a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Amrouche hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Fateh Djebbour hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Daventry AFC's Bouzid Attaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Khennane in the 43rd minute of play. Balwa Besseghir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Khalida Mazouni made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balwa Bentaala was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rayan Tellidji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hamza Khennane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bayna Mazari fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bouzid Attaf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aflawas El Ghazi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Broughton Astley FC booed when Daventry AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baligh Cherif didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balwa Bentaala in the 80th minute of play forced Broughton Astley FC's goalkeeper Khalida Mazouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bouzid Attaf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aflawas El Ghazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamza Khennane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bouzid Attaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aflawas El Ghazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouzid Attaf having to interfere. After 98 played minutes Daventry AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baligh Cherif. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Broughton Astley FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
