Daventry AFC's Bouzid Attaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmadjid Benzaghou in the 13th minute of play. Newbiggin's Madjid Mazzid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balwa Besseghir in the 17th minute of play. Daventry AFC's Bouzid Attaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelmadjid Benzaghou in the 20th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Balwa Bentaala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newbiggin's Madjid Mazzid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Massoud Lamine Kab was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bayna Brahmia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bouzid Attaf having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balwa Bentaala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daventry AFC:s Bouzid Attaf showed great skill when he stopped Massoud Lamine Kab:s penalty. Balwa Bentaala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Madjid Mazzid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daventry AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
