Ilkley's Smaïn Kherchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofyane Hammou in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of East Horsley booed when Ilkley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbes Zitouni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbes Zitouni hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ilyes Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Smaïn Kherchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nordine Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hadj Zeghbouche in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofiane Rabiâ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ilyes Benhamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Horsley's Sofyane Hammou got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abbes Zitouni kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ilkley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Sofyane Hammou scored to the left of an out of position Smaïn Kherchi, making the score, 1-0. Sofyane Hammou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofyane Hammou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Smaïn Kherchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilyes Benhamou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Smaïn Kherchi made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sofyane Hammou to make the kick off. Abbes Zitouni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sofiane Rabiâ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Ilkley's goal looked a bit too open when Ilyes Benhamou came free, but Smaïn Kherchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofyane Hammou in the 57th minute of play forced Ilkley's goalkeeper Smaïn Kherchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mounir Mzali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilkley's supporters rose to their feet, but Mounir Mzali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sofiane Rabiâ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes, Sofyane Hammou made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ilkley's Smaïn Kherchi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66thth minute of the game Mounir Mzali who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Horsley's Sofiane Rabiâ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ilkley booed when East Horsley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hani Zian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ilkley defense, Sofyane Hammou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Smaïn Kherchi. The Ilkley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Smaïn Kherchi should have stopped the shot. Mounir Mzali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofiane Rabiâ having to interfere. Sofiane Rabiâ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hadj Zeghbouche in the 77th minute. If Sofyane Hammou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilyes Benhamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilyes Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Smaïn Kherchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Hadj Zeghbouche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
