Kamil Sermadji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abderrahmane Belhouche in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goalkeeper Sid Ahmed Hammou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Morceli. Yacoub Debbagh charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yacoub Debbagh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Yacoub Debbagh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sid Ahmed Hammou was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kamel Ighil. 21 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goalkeeper Sid Ahmed Hammou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Morceli. 23 minutes into the game, Yunes Zeggar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shepshed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Ash Green United the free kick. 25 minutes into the game, New Ash Green United's Laïd Zerguelaine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kamil Sermadji made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abderrahmane Belhouche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amar Selmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kamil Sermadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamel Ighil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benamar Oussar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sid Ahmed Hammou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benamar Oussar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Morceli in the 63rd minute of play forced New Ash Green United's goalkeeper Sid Ahmed Hammou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Ash Green United's Abderrahmane Belhouche got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Shepshed's Kamel Ighil got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Chahid Djazouli came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the New Ash Green United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chahid Djazouli couldn't finish the play. New Ash Green United's Sid Ahmed Hammou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benamar Oussar in the 73rd minute of play. If Laïd Zerguelaine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderrahmane Belhouche succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After having played for 81 minutes, Omar Morceli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shepshed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Morceli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Abderrahmane Belhouche came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the New Ash Green United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abderrahmane Belhouche couldn't finish the play. If Benamar Oussar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benamar Oussar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Ahmed Hammou having to interfere.
